アドビ システムズは、パーソナルユーザー向けのデジタル画像編集ソフト「Photoshop Elements 4.0」（Windows版）とデジタルビデオ編集ソフト「Premiere Elements 2.0」（Windows版）、および「Photoshop Elements 4.0 plus Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0」（Windows版）の発売日を11月3日に決定した。
Photoshop Elements 4.0の価格は、通常版のパッケージ製品が14,490円、ダウンロード価格が9,600円。乗り換え/アップグレード版のパッケージ製品が10,290円、同ダウンロード価格は6,600円となる。
