招待されたのはフランスの「エコール・ドゥ・ラ・シャンブル・サンディカル・ドゥ・ラ・クチュール・パリジェンヌ（Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne）」やベルギーの「アントワープ王立芸術アカデミー（Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Art）」、アメリカの「パーソンズ・ニュー・スクール・フォー・デザイン（Parsons The New School for Design）」など全16校。日本からは文化服装学院の小杉早苗学院長と3名の学生が参加した。
