米YouTubeは16日（米国時間）、「YouTube Video Awards」の開催を発表した。
今年が初回となるYouTube Video Awardsは、2006年に投稿されたオリジナル動画のうちもっとも優秀なものを「Most Creative」「Most Inspirational」「Best Series」「Best Comedy」「Musician Of The Year」「Best Commentary」「Most Adorable Video Ever」の7部門で表彰するもの。
